Colliery Offices
General view of the Blackhall Colliery Offices and Lamp Cabin. In the centre they built workmens coal hoppers and horse manure hoppers. Opposite were the East Street Officials houses - when the wind was off the sea, the houses were covered in coal dust and in the summer they had to put up with smell of horse manure and all the flies.
