Strip quilt in 13 strips - Pink & blue. Reverse of white cotton. Quilting follows the strips in simple leaf pattern and diamond infill. Made by Mrs Harriet Adamson, wife of George Adamson, Carlisle House, Rookhope, engineer in local lead mines. c1900-3. Designed by Mrs Adamson herself in about 1900 and was kept for use in the guest room. Size 2.28 m square.
