Rev Edward Lynn

He was well known for his pencil sketches showing life in Co Durham mining communities in the 1930's. He was the son of a colliery engineer and brought up in Brandon, he later served as a parson in pit communities like Chopwell, Sliksworth and Trimdon. Many examples of Rev Lynn's sketches are copied in Beamish Archive, photo nos 54970-54999 and 57000-57017.
