1967-571, elaborate oil lamp, cast iron decorative stand, with 2 branches at each side, one has tin container, with small jet on top, other with paraffin lamp, container, white globe and tall slender glass. central rod with tap at base. Overall width 254 mm. Overall height. 445 mm with glass fitted. 1966-23, oil table lamp pyramid shaped metal base surmounted by pottery bowl which supports head of wicks. Overall height. 305 mm, base 145 mm square, height of base 140 mm.

1962-193, wall oil lamp, tin base and back, painted to look like brass , 2 wicks and elliptical glass, hole for hook on back. Size 370 mm high. 1965-41, oil lamp with back plate for wall hanging. Plate 115mm x 280 mm. with curved top and hole for hanging lamp itself has base 63 mm, 140 mm deep, with wick holder projecting 90 mm above. All glass fittings missing. Made of enamelled tin, black enamel nearly all worn off.

1965-154 zinc handlamp (acetylene) with red painted handle, brass regulator. Size - height 170mm, 95 mm dia, height including handle 254 mm from Fulwell Quarries and Limeworks, Sunderland. 1965-359, one of a pair of pewter candlesticks, curves up to cup with pin at top. Size 229mm high, 114 mm dia at base.

1965-484 oil lamp, small, glass metal support for wick. known as a "shilling lamp". Glass base and handle. Overall height 267mm dia. of base 89mm. 1961-59.J brass with white porcelain enamel reservoir and copper/alloy top. Top screws into reservoir and has feeding hole for the cotton wick, which can be adjusted by a screw at the side. a small metal cap pits over the wick hole at the top. stamped around the top of the lamp - Wright & Butler makers Birmingham. W & B & S & MS patent. There are clips and screw for a globe now missing. Overall height 210mm dia. of base. 130mm.

(1964-359) Table oil lamp with opaque glass reservoir, painted with flowers and leaves with cast iron base. The base is a square sectioned pyramid with a design of owls cast on it. Lamp is complete with elliptical base overall height 520mm base 150mm sq. (1964-653) Oil lamp. Cast glass bowl on brass, glass and black stone base. 330mm high. Transfer portrait of woman's head on inside of glass base. Inscribed on brass "PAT (1) APR. 11TH 1876".
