She came from a mining family - they all made quilts for the family and used to take part in the Women's Bright Hour at West Pelton Methodist Chapel. Quilt - top of yellow, turkey red & white cotton, reverse of turkey red cotton. Central star of yellow surrounded by sunburst pattern of alternate red and yellow lozenges on a white background.
