Text - My Uncle Jakey Lamb (Overma) took me to work in 3rd North-East Landing where my brother and other putter brought the full tubs of coal. I would hang them on steel haualge rope in fours and send them to the shaft. And make sure there was plenty of empty tubs for the putters - the empty tubs were called 'chumins'.
