Healeyfield Smelt Mill. Reportedly the last lead smelting in operation in Co Durham in the 1920s by wheels mine it was resmelting machine lead scrap. The horizontal flue system between the building & the vertical chimney has been preserved as a historical monument. (1993 cleared as picnic area)
