Taken from p61 of Clarke Chapman & Co Ltd Trade catalogue, 1907. (Photocopy in Beamish Library). Makers No 1986 - built in 1902 for Messrs J Musgrave, boiler makers of Bolton. The locomotive had 2 25hp motors and the controller used was from the old Duke of York battleship. During the 1914-18 war, the Admiralty took over the factory of Musgraves and named the locomotive Lord Stanley, it was sold in 1920 to the West Hough...
