Maker :- The Premier Lamp and Engineering Company Limited Leeds., , , , It is in poor condition, and will be used in the lamp cabin project. It is made of steel and brass.

A Marsaut safety lamp, Type 2a Haydock pattern, made by :- Davis Derby. A HCP type lamp, with baffled bonnet, 4 pillars pneumatic lock ( missing spring pillar ) , 2 inner gauzes and electric ignition through the base. , , , , Missing internal ignition wire and makers badge. Made of brass and steel. Inscription :- Davis Derby " 91 ". Maker :- John Davis and Son, All saints Works,Derby in 1940s. It is in good condition. It was possibly used in Westerhope Colliery.

It has a brass oil vessel and retaining ring., , , , The lamp has a hasp lock, wire wick adjuster and glass, but is missing a gauze. Stamped number ' 503 '. Made of brass, steel and glass. , , , , Maker :- James Laidler and Sons, number 1, Durham. It is in fair condition. Locally produced, no other example in the collection.
