Accident

Accident on NER. NER Class R 4-4-0 No 725 being lifted back onto the track after a derailment at Felling when the rails buckled in the heat of the sun. The engine was only 3 months old and was hauling a train from Liverpool - Newcastle via Leeds & Sunderland. Large crowds gathered to watch. March 1907.
