Beamish Museum is host to many hours of fascinating archive footage from the turn of the century, right through to more recent times. Our aim over the coming months is to digitise a video each month for your viewing pleasure.

This month we present some fantastic silent footage of the Durham Light Infantry 6th Battalion Territorials at a training camp near Blackhill c1908/1909. It also includes scenes from Blackhill Station and Front Street in Consett, County Durham.
