Sherburn Hill Colliery Band honoured Jackie Kell, with a presentation at the Workingmen's Club, of a silver tankard after 67 years service, December 1959. He had joined the band at the age of 13 in 1892 and had never missed playing at the 'Big Meeting', pictured with his grandson Graham. DA Box 416.
