18th Northumberland Fusiliers
Lines of soldiers from the 18th Northumberland Fusiliers (1st Tyneside Pioneers of 34 Division which had been raised up in Newcastle in 1914 by the Newcastle and Gateshead Chamber of Commerce) standing next to a train made up of Midland Railway carriages at an unidentified station, likely to be in Wiltshire, 1915. They left Sutton Venny, Warminster on 7th January 1916 for France. Postcard.
