Elliptical roof NER carriages, purchased by the NCB and used at Ashington Colliery for workmens trains. They are numbers 9300/163 and 164 built in 1913 & 11. They were taken to Consett Iron Works to be stored and were purchased by the Museum.

Round topped N.E.R. carriages which were purchased by the NCB and used at Ashington Colliery for workmens trains. They are numbers 9300/163 and 164 built in 1913 and 1911 respectively. Eventually these carriages were taken to Consett Iron Works to be stored and from here were purchased by the Museum from the NCB
