Portrait of Sarah Chisholm (nee Patterson) of Coxhoe, born 1869 at Walbottle, died 1918. She was a quilter. Her husband made fender and tidy in Beamish Collection (1972-161) based on quilt templates.

Portrait of William Pattison Chisholm of Coxhoe, maker of fender and tidy in Beamish Collection (Acc No 1972-161). He was born in 1866 at Shotton Colliery and died in 1942. The pattern for the fender and tidy were derived from quilt templates. He was a colliery blacksmith at Coxhoe Colliery.
